Master of Information Technology
This two-year degree program, designed as a conversion program for non-computing background students, provides students exposure to undergo in depth study of computer related and management subjects. The combination provides sufficient exposure to meet the market requirements. The combination of computer and management sciences prepare students in diversified fields of banking, management areas, private & public enterprises, projects handling, and preparation of feasibilities etc. Students will be prepared to practical aspects of subjects related challenges by preparing reports and undergo internships.
Admission Requirements
a. Pre-requisites:
First division or Second division in BSc/BCom/BBA/BA from recognised institutions, in Sciences or Statistics or Economics or Commerce, other areas may also be judged suitable after scrutiny of courses studied.
b. Procedure for Admission
The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board according to the merit formula and schedule notified.
Candidates may be admitted in the beginning of the Spring or Fall semester. If a selected candidate fails to enroll in time as notified his admission will stand cancelled and seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
c. Merit Scholarships
Students with A grades (or high First Division) will be considered for Merit Scholarships, which will cover full tuition and hostel accommodation.
